Who are Drivex?

Drivex Ltd was established to provide a specialist Driver Training Consultancy designed to meet the rapidly increasing demand by all manner of businesses and other organisations to provide tailor-made driver training, driver improvement and risk assessment packages.

Our training is designed to help you comply with the legal requirements relating to work-related driving covered under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and a number of other important pieces of related legislation.

It was formed with the intention of helping reduce the high proportion of accidents on our roads that involve work-related driving in some way.

Estimates show that around 25% of all road traffic accidents, and about 26% of all fatalities, involve someone driving or using the road for work purposes, and whilst overall road deaths have trended lower over recent years, the number of work-related road deaths has not. This means, of course, that the overall proportion of work-related road deaths in the annual total is increasing.

All of our training consultants are highly qualified and have many years experience in the field of driver training. We at Drivex are enthusiastic and motivated to provide the best solution to your driver improvement needs.

All staff are monitored on a regular basis, are CRB police checked and hold the appropriate category of licence for the training being provided.

We at Drivex recognise that driving and road transport have a significant environmental impact. It is our policy to deliver our services and use our equipment in such a way as to have the least environmental impact as possible. It is also our aim to pass on our expertise in this field to all of our customers.

We are committed to:

• Reducing energy consumption by using vehicles and equipment as efficiently as is possible, both by optimising efficiency when in use, and by avoiding use completely when practical.
• Reducing our use of resources by maximising recycling of vehicles, equipment and other materials surplus to requirement.
• Complying with all environmental legislation as it applies to our business activities.
• Educating and motivating our staff to help us implement our environmental policy.
• Making the adoption of more environmentally compatible driving practices and workplace transport policy a major part of the training and advice given, being prioritised only by improving road safety.
• Reviewing our environmental policy on a regular basis in order to ensure that it remains relevant.

Scope

Drivex Limited is a Corporate Driver Training Consultancy, and in the execution of our work we provide practical and classroom-based driver training, combined with relevant documentation, in helping our clients' meet their need to manage their Occupational Road Risk. Our Environmental Policy applies to all of our training, transport and office-based activities.
